Make assumptions visible
I separate what the team knows, what it believes, and what still needs evidence.
About
Denver-based and authorized to work in the United States, I combine product strategy, UX research, interaction design, visual systems, and close collaboration with engineering.
Profile
I’m Zakaria El Meskini, a Denver-based product designer with 4+ years of experience across enterprise B2B SaaS, gaming, wellness, travel, EdTech, and Web3 products.
I work best on products where complexity is real: multiple user types, connected workflows, technical constraints, competing priorities, and systems that must scale. I start by making the problem visible, then move between research, structure, interaction, and delivery.
I use code and AI-assisted tools to explore and communicate ideas faster, but tools are not the differentiator. The value is choosing the right problem, explaining the tradeoffs, and helping a cross-functional team ship a coherent experience.
Based in Denver, Colorado · Authorized to work in the United States · Green Card holder · Experience collaborating with U.S. and European product teams.
Working principles
01
I separate what the team knows, what it believes, and what still needs evidence.
02
Permissions, errors, empty states, loading, edge cases, and recovery are part of the primary experience.
03
I connect outcomes to method, sample, period, and source so impact remains credible.
